(16 oz.) pumpkin<\/li>\n<li>2 C. flour<\/li>\n<li>2 tsp. baking powder<\/li>\n<li>2 tsp. cinnamon<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp. salt<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp. baking soda<\/li>\n<li>1\/8 tsp. cloves<\/li>\n<li>1\/8 tsp. nutmeg<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<td valign='top' style='padding-right:4em'>\n<!-- Frosting --><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>8 oz. cream cheese<\/li>\n<li>1 C. soft butter or margarine<\/li>\n<li>2 tsp. vanilla<\/li>\n<li>4 1\/2 C. powdered sugar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 350&deg;F<\/li>\n<li>Cream eggs, sugar, oil, and pumpkin. Beat until fluffy.<\/li>\n<li>Stir in dry ingredients and mix well.<\/li>\n<li>Spread in an ungreased jelly roll pan.<\/li>\n<li>Bake at 350&deg;F for 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick in center comes out clean.<\/li>\n<li>When cooled, make the frosting as follows.<\/li>\n<li>Mix cream cheese and butter.<\/li>\n<li>Stir in vanilla.<\/li>\n<li>Add powdered sugar, a little at a time.<\/li>\n<li>Beat well and frost.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Note: I like to have this as a birthday cake. To do this, we bake it as instructed in a jelly roll pan and then cut that in half to make two smaller rectangles. Then we make a two-layer cake out of it with frosting in the middle and all around.
