{"id":252,"date":"2022-12-27T11:59:21","date_gmt":"2022-12-27T19:59:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vernon.mauery.com\/content\/?p=252"},"modified":"2022-12-27T11:59:21","modified_gmt":"2022-12-27T19:59:21","slug":"five-bean-stew","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vernon.mauery.com\/content\/2022\/12\/27\/five-bean-stew\/","title":{"rendered":"Five Bean Stew"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 can garbanzo beans<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 can great northern beans<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 can pork &#8216;n&#8217; beans<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 can kidney beans<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 can navy beans<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/2 cup brown sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/4 cup yellow mustard<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3\/4 cup ketchup<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 1\/2 cup diced ham<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/2 pound bacon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 pound ground beef<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 onion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Salt and pepper to taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Put the five cans of beans and their liquid into a crockpot on high heat. Add ham, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, mustard, and ketchup to the beans.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cut the bacon into 1 inch pieces and cook in a frying pan. Add the bacon to the bean mixture.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dice the onion and fry it with the ground beef in the frying pan until browned.
